Achieving energy efficiency within a building can be assisted with a Skellerup warm roof system. This system achieves high R-values across the entire low-sloped roof to drive energy efficiency and reduce air conditioning and heating costs over the life of the roof system.

The warm roof system includes rigid polyisocyanurate sheets which are adhered underneath its waterproofing membrane. The products are Skellerup Epiclad or Enviroclad wide membrane sheets and Skellerup Polyiso insulation panels. A vapour barrier is only required for installations in more extreme climate areas such as Zone 3 (H1/AS1) - the south island and the north island’s central plateau.

Additional to the fire and wind uplift resistance, the wider membrane sheets minimise the number of seams resulting in a watertight solution. Skellerup Polyiso insulation panels are available in tapered sheets, promoting slope in key areas and maximising watershed.
